Procedures For Counselling Sessions - In Person/Zoom/Telephone
I take my lead from the latest COVID-19 guidelines and currently offer appointments by telephone or via a secure video conferencing service.
I also have access to therapy rooms at different locations across the North-east. This means that we can meet in person within social distancing rules if you are comfortable to do so.
Confidentiality & GDPR
The content of our sessions is confidential. This is an important part of establishing trust between us. If you need me to share any aspect of our conversations, you will need to provide me with your written consent.
There are a few exceptions where confidentiality may be breached. I will outline these to you during our Initial Consultation appointment and they can also be found by viewing the NCS Safeguarding Policy.
I will ask for your permission to store your personal information. This conforms with the terms of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and guidance from the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).
