Procedures For Counselling Sessions - Zoom & Telephone

In 2020, I took the decision to move my practice online and currently offer appointments by Zoom and also telephone.

Confidentiality & GDPR

The content of our sessions is confidential. This is an important part of establishing trust between us. If you need me to share any aspect of our conversations, you will need to provide me with your written consent.

There are a few exceptions where confidentiality may be breached. I will outline these to you during our Initial Consultation appointment and they can also be found by viewing the NCS Safeguarding Policy.

I will ask for your permission to store your personal information. This conforms with the terms of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and guidance from the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).
