Emergency Numbers

If you are concerned about how you are feeling and need to speak to someone urgently, contact your GP surgery or call 111 and select ‘Option 2’ to speak with the NHS Mental Health Crisis Response Service. You can also visit your local Accident and Emergency department.​

Some numbers that may be of use are:

​

  • CALM: 0800 585 858 (every day from 5pm until midnight)

  • MIND: 0300 102 1234 (Monday to Friday from 9am until 6pm)

  • PAPYRUS: 0800 068 4141 (every day, 24 hours, for those who are under 35)

  • SAMARITANS: 116 123 (every day, 24 hours)

 

If you’d prefer not to talk with someone, but would still like to reach out and receive support text ‘SHOUT’ to 85258 and a trained mental health volunteer will respond.​
